Children With Disabilities

We have an opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities Team, based in Chelmsford.

Our client is ideally looking for a Social Worker who has previous experience of working within this client group, but will look at applicants who have experience of working within a Children and Families role.

To manage a caseload of service-users with sensory impairment, dual-sensory impairment and other disabilities requiring assessment of their needs, carry out Initial and core assessments and investigations, develop care plans and co-ordinate support packages as necessary. To assess the needs of children with disabilities whilst also recognising the needs of carers requiring assessment and provision of support.
You must be registered with the GSCC and hold a current enhanced CRB.
